Our prices vary depending on the photography required. 

If you are simply looking for one amazing photograph of your pet, or multiple photographs for a collection, generally, we price our services based on an hourly rate.

Studio Portraits

Producing your final image is a 4-stage process:

1. The Photo Shoot- including transportation, setup, shooting and pack down. 2 hours

2. Processing- Images are uploaded to our computer into Adobe Lightroom, sorted and the best images put into a ‘Picks’ Collection.  

These picks are then processed from RAW format adjusting exposure, colour correction, sharpness and cropped. Images are then optimized for print and screen. Normally we aim for 12 images as a rule. 1 hour

3. Proofing- the processed images are then uploaded to our website into a dedicated gallery for you to view. You can select your favourites, review and then add your selected images for purchase to your cart. Select your payment option and complete your order.

Alternatively you may wish to have a personal viewing of your images. This will provide you with a chance to discuss print size options, perhaps look at ordering a canvas print and consider framing to compliment your investment.

We utilise specialist services for these options at The Presentation Place, Williamstown Victoria. They are our local Lab and Framing service provider for these options.

4. Printing- your order is then sent off for printing. This usually takes only 1-2 days, and then the images are posted to your door. 

Included is one (2) 8x10” Colour or Black & White, Lustre print. (High quality Matte Finish)

We Now offer our BASIC PORTRAIT PACKAGE:

4 4x6", 1 5x7" & 2 8x10" prints all for just $105 plus the $75 session fee. That's $180 for 7 prints!

Custom sizes are available on our website when you place an order. The sizes listed above are the most popular and are directly available on our website. Please contact us for other sizes if you may require them.

Stretched Canvas Prints: We offer a huge range of sizes turning your favourite image into a wall mountable piece of art.

Foamcore Mounted Posters: Now offering massive posters from A2 to A0 sizes, mounted on foamcore board and finished edges of black or white.

Posters (unmounted): Our least expensive offering for huge prints. You can get these framed yourself at a later stage. They are not mounted on the foamcore sheeting.

Event Photography

We usually quote on 4 hours for events. 

You might have for example, a herding event scheduled for a Saturday. Your program starts at 9 am and concludes at 4 pm. 

In this example, we would look at your program and discuss with you the most important aspects of the day, and work towards shooting a 4-hour bracket to incorporate those events.  (10 -12pm / lunch / 1 - 3pm)

Important: we charge our rate to cover costs, time and talent.  If we are able to sell prints to participants after the event, this is considered a reward for our hard work and ‘unseen’ processing labour to produce the best quality that we strive for. Plus, we know we are offering images that are making people happy! *Please see our note regarding pricing further below

We do offer print ordering at a reduced price for events 

The same 4-stage process is used:  

1. The Event Coverage- including shooting (Charged at reduced rate) 4 hours  (breaks not counted)

2. Processing- Images are uploaded to our computer into Adobe Lightroom, sorted and the best images put into a ‘Picks’ Collection.  For a 4-hour event, we usually work towards approximately 80 top images for a collection

These picks are then processed from RAW format adjusting exposure, colour correction, sharpness and cropped. Images are then optimised for print and screen.  We process on average around 20 images per hour. 2 hours + (depending on number of images shot.)

3. Proofing- the processed images are then uploaded to our website into a dedicated gallery for you to view. Clients can select their favourites, review and then add their selected images for purchase to their cart. Select payment option and complete their order.

4. Printing- any orders are then sent off for printing. This usually takes only 1-2 days, and then the images are posted to your door. (If you selected postage)

Included are 12 digital images optimised for Website Promotion only. Images will be limited to 600 pixels long edge @ 72 pixels per inch. Usage rights are sent to you regarding what the images will be permitted to be used for by your club or person.

If you require images for print media, e.g. newsletters, flyers etc, this can be negotiated separately. (Usage rights apply) 

The total time, (based on a 4 hour event coverage) including all of the above stages,

Prints are priced discounted as follows: Please note however, there is a minimum purchase of $35, plus $5 postage within Australia.

We have listened to our Event Customers who wished to purchase many prints from a day, and the discounted price is a small token when ordering averages around the 15 to 30 image range.  We understand your ongoing expenses regarding your involvement within the Working Dog calendar!
